Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most, covering scheduling, payment, our service guarantee, and how to get the most out of your treatments.
What happens if it rains?
You might be surprised to learn that rainy days actually present a fantastic opportunity for us to enhance your pest control services. We take pest management seriously, and adhering to a consistent schedule is essential for effectively controlling pest populations. While our main focus is on exterior services, we welcome rainy days as a chance to conduct interior inspections. During these visits, we can also switch to water-activated granules for better results. Unless there's an all-day downpour on the day of your scheduled service, we'll be there as planned. We want to assure you that we would never perform a service that could lead to future issues or necessitate free re-services. Our commitment to your satisfaction is why we offer a service guarantee*. We've got your back! If you need to cancel or reschedule your service, please review our cancellation policy. Cancellation terms are covered in your service agreement.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours before your scheduled time. This allows us the opportunity to assist other customers who may be waiting for an appointment. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to review the cancellation policy outlined below.
- Customers who fail to show up or cancel/reschedule their appointment without notifying our office at least 24 hours in advance will be classified as a “No Show.”
- Cancellation and rescheduling terms are covered in your service agreement.
- New customers who do not show up for their initial appointment may not be eligible for rescheduling.
- As a courtesy, we send an appointment reminder email 5 business days before your scheduled service. However, it remains the customer's responsibility to be present and prepared for their appointment on the designated date and time. If you do not receive a reminder email, the policy above will still apply.
- Cancellations due to inclement weather are at the discretion of ACI Pest & Lawn Solutions. If we determine that weather conditions are unstable, our office will contact you to reschedule your service.
We understand that emergencies can arise, and you may not be able to keep your scheduled appointment. If you encounter extenuating circumstances, please reach out to our office staff as soon as possible.
What forms of payment do you take?
ACI requires a credit card to be kept on file when scheduling your service. We have multiple security measures in place to ensure your protection, and we only charge your card when the service begins. If you prefer to pay by check, ACH, or cash, we are happy to note that for your technician. Our technicians or office staff can provide you with the ACH form if you choose that option. If you have requested that we do not charge your card and that you'd like to pay via a different method, please ensure that form of payment is provided at the start of your service. If payment is not given to the technician, your card on file will be charged once the service is completed. You can pay our technicians using cash, check, credit card, or ACH. If payment is not secured when the technician arrives, they will inform the office, and your appointment may be rescheduled or canceled.
What is your service guarantee?
At ACI, we are dedicated to providing high-quality pest control services and ensuring your satisfaction. Please keep in mind that our services will take time to become fully effective. Those pesky bugs have to move across the products and either ingest them or absorb them through their exoskeleton. It will require multiple treatments to achieve optimal results (staying on a program is a must!). For general pest treatments, we recommend allowing a minimum of 14-21 days for optimal effectiveness. Be prepared, you may even notice an increase in pests immediately after service due to the flushing agents that drive them out of hiding and into the product.
Pest Control Services:We guarantee our treatments will effectively reduce pest populations. Please keep in mind, if you skip a service, you allow the bugs to work against the program and numbers won't stay properly under control. It takes both customer action and understanding to keep numbers down. If pests return between your scheduled visits, simply contact us and we'll re-treat at no additional charge.
Lawn Care Services:We highly recommend getting on the 5x year program that includes pre-emergent to help with seasonal weeds. If you are on the 5x program and you're not satisfied with the health and appearance of your lawn, we will provide an additional treatment free of charge to help achieve your desired results.
Specialty Services (e.g., termite treatments, rodent exclusion): We stand behind our work. Ask about the service guarantee for these treatments.
One-Time Services: While we cannot offer a guarantee for most one-time services, we will strive to ensure your satisfaction. If you have any concerns, please contact us, and we will address them promptly.
Keep in mind that while our techs come equipped with a B&G wand, it's not a magic wand. Dealing with infestations takes time and regular treatments. If you spot three or more live, healthy pests after 14-21 days, just give us a shout. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we're here to provide the best service possible. If you have any questions about our guarantees or services, please don't hesitate to reach out!
What is the best pest control program you offer?

Before our technician arrives, we recommend:
- If you are having a German roach, flea/tick or bed bug treatment, please download and complete the prep guide.

How long will the treatment take?
Treatment duration varies based on the type of service required. Most treatments take between 30mins-1hr and can be upwards of 3 hours depending on the size of the property. Your technician will provide a more accurate estimate during the initial inspection.
Will I need to leave my home during treatment?
